The white head
eagle carved in maple wood is available in many sizes and in the versions
natural, stained 3 colors and color. The wooden figure of the white headed
eagle can be ordered online or purchased in our woodcarvings shop in St.
Christina in Val Gardena - South Tyrol.
The white head eagle is mainly found in North America.
Originally the bird of prey inhabited the entire main land, today it populates
the east and west coasts as well as Alaska and
some parts of Canada.
The bald eagle usually lives on rivers, lakes and coasts. It feeds mainly on
fish and water birds, less on mammals.
These birds of prey reach a body length of 90 cm and a wing span of 2.5 m.
Head, neck and tail are white, body and wings are dark brown. Feet, beak, and
the iris of the eyes are yellow.
