The name of this very extensive Nativity Scene, Prof. Karl Kuolt, comes from the name of the artist who designed the nativity scene. Prof. Karl Kuolt
was born in 1879; he attended the art school and later the Arts Academy, both in Munich - Germany. After graduating, he took care of the design of many chapels and monuments in his country. The Karl Kuolt crib, which he designed himself, is one of his most famous art works.
